missions director

Pastor Brandon has served as the Missions Director at Central Church since July 2014, overseeing theGOproject. He studied Intercultural Studies and Languages at North Central University, and has had the opportunity to experience what God is doing around the world through people who have responded to Jesus’ command to ‘GO.’

He and his wife, Pastor Rachel, have a desire to see followers of Christ go from being ‘donors’ to ‘owners’ of theGOproject. By overseeing this mission and providing opportunities for individuals and families to engage in events and projects, they hope people will heed Jesus’ call to be local, national, and global missionaries. At the same time they strive to equip people to be career missionaries (GOpartners) who are sent from Central Church.

Pastor Rachel is married to Pastor Brandon. Their daughter, Lena, was born in April 2015. They have been married since August 2013.

Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA

What makes you laugh: Scaring my wife. This usually involves an hour of apologies though (worth it).

Favorite Bible verse: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all of your anxieties upon Him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7  We were not designed to carry the burdens of life. This passage reminds me that these burdens act as a safeguard to fix my perspective on God; the only one who can fully carry the weight of my burdens and the one who deserves all my affection.

Favorite things to do: I love to travel and explore with my wife, whether locally or internationally. Finding a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in major cities is a family favorite. I also enjoy photography, especially when taking candids of my cute daughter.
